The Directors

Tim Lloyd

Name:  Tim Lloyd

Your role: Director

Interesting fact about yourself: Former GB national team ski racer, Olympic team coach and by now 25 year firefighter!

Proudest Achievement (in or out of AAH): in 2008 i trekked to Everest reaching the summit of Kala Pattar (18,500ft) with my 13 year old daughter and 75 year old father. This was where the idea for ‘Always Aim High’ was first born, and was a true turning point in my life.

Three words to describe yourself: Slateman, Sandman, Snowman

What’s your favourite film? (sorry I’m a music person, not film!): Arctic Monkeys

What’s your favourite book?: I’m currently reading ‘Life according to G’ which I’m really enjoying. He is a legend.

What’s your favourite meal?: Steak, frites

Nigel Kendrick

Name: Nigel Kendrick (AKA Kenny)

Your role: Director

Favourite AAH event: Sandman Triathlon

Interesting fact about yourself: I was part of the British Disabled Ski Team that went to the 2006 Winter Paralympics.

Proudest Achievement (in or out of AAH): I am extremely proud of the achievements of Always Aim High Events, my proudest moments come from seeing peoples reaction at our finish lines and knowing they have done their very best and had a great experience. This is all made possible by our professional AAH team, dedicated and fun loving marshals and the support of my fab family.

Three words to describe yourself: “enjoy the journey"

Jack Robertson

Name: Jack Robertson

Your role: Event Manager

Favourite AAH event: Slateman Triathlon

Interesting fact about yourself: I used to commute by unicycle before I got into road cycling.

Proudest achievement: 13th place in the Caernarfon Santa Dash ;-)

Kyle MacKenzie

Name: Kyle MacKenzie  

Your role: Event Coordinator

Favorite AAH Event: Cardiff Triathlon

Interesting fact about yourself: Lived and worked in Japan for 6 months.

Proudest Achievement (in or out of AAH): Gaining Ski/Snowboard Instructor qulifications

Three words to describe yourself: Team player, Motivated, Observant

Fran Kohn-Hollins

Name: Fran / Frannie / Frank  Kohn-Hollins

Your role: Event Manager (Maternity Leave)  

Favourite AAH event: Snowdonia Trail Marathon

Interesting fact about yourself: I’m a GBR World Champion at White Water Rafting don’t ya know!!

Proudest achievement: Winning 2 Golds, 2 Silvers and overall GOLD at the White Water Rafting World Championships in Dubai 2016.

Three words to describe yourself: Strong Independent Woman

Adam Lemalle

Name: Adam Lemalle (with a silent Carl)

Your role: Marketing & Communications Manager (and Website Manager, Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager…)

Favourite AAH event: Cardiff Triathlon

Interesting fact about yourself: Sang in the National Eisteddfod when I was 10

Proudest Achievement (in or out of AAH): My son, Ethan.
