Adventure Championships 2021 Triathlon Snowman Savage
Looking to really challenge yourself? The Savage is an event that tests the strongest and most committed triathletes, combining two triathlons across two days. Race the Sprint Race on Saturday AND the Classic on Sunday. A truly savage combination of events!
Starting from the scenic grounds of Plas y Brenin; The National Mountain Centre, you will twice take to the waters of Llyn Mymbyr under the watchful eye of Snowdon. Two different bike routes surrounded by spectacular scenery and taking in the hill climbs of Snowdonia’s mountain passes make up your bike phases. It may not feel it, but the Sprint is a warm up heading only halfway to the peak of Moel Siabod, the next day you head to the top in a famously tough final stage before descending back down to Capel Curing.
Results for the Savage will be determined on the combined time of the two races. Entrants are also eligible for places and prizes in the individual events so you could podium three times over the weekend.
Bike - Day 1:31km / Day 2:69.2km
Run - Day 1:6.1km / Day 2:8.4km
