Nick Beer Llandudno 10k 2024

Always Aim High Events are proud to present a new road running event in our race calendar - the iconic Nick Beer 10k

The event, which is in its 32nd year, has previously been run by the North Wales Road Runners. Always Aim High Events are proud to add this fantastic race to our community events. This not-for-profit event will continue to support local charities as well as the North Wales Road Runners Club.

Starting on the iconic Victorian promenade in Llandudno, the route takes runners around the awe-inspiring Great Orme with its stunning views of Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey and beyond. With hundreds of runners taking part year after year, it is a fabulous start to the running season.

This event has some great history, read all about the man who inspired it, Nick Beer, here: THE NICK BEER MEMORIAL 10K

Running alongside the event, there will be a 1k Fun Run, organised St David's Hospice (Llandudno). To enter and find out more, please contact the St David's Hospice Fundraising Team..

Maybe when we run his race each year, it will remind us of the importance and positive results that trying hard and participating can bring. Nick Beer was a true son of the sporting ethic, who left us with a wealth of fond memories, and a legacy of inspiration
