The race starts on the beautiful North Shore of the Llandudno Promenade outside the Imperial Hotel. You’ll run past the iconic pier and onto the Great Orme itself. With sea views on one side and towering cliffs on the other, you surely won’t notice the incline under your legs in this first section! At the far end of the Great Orme is the ‘Rest And Be Thankful' cafe, which marks you're close to the halfway point. No time to rest, but get ready to be thankful because the wonderful flying descent is just ahead! You’ll flow down the road towards West Shore and as you do you’ll get incredible views of Conwy castle and Anglesey ahead and to your right. At 8km you’ll arrive back in Llandudno and run along the historic Victorian streets that will take you back to the Promenade and the Finish Line.
