Cani Cross | Black Diamond Torchlight Trail Canicross 2023
Black Diamond Torchlight Trail Canicross 2023 Cani Cross 10k
The trail race will start and finish in the event village and take our runners around the forest trails before welcoming them back at the end of their adventure.
The trail follows the same route as the Sandman Triathlon Sprint, only this time it's by head torchlight and you're running with your dog! The run takes place on the rugged trails of Newborough Forest. Running through the trees and down along the sand dunes is both wonderful and grueling. The last 1.5km is almost entirely on sand but it only makes the accomplishment all the more rewarding. 5k runners tackle it once, 10km runners take it on twice!
Canicross runners will have their own start line to avoid congestion with other runners. Please make sure your dog can be seen in low light conditions. Runners are limited to one dog per person and must use correct cani-cross equipment. Please see the event FAQs for further information.
