With over 1,000 triathletes taking part across the weekend, the SportPursuit Slateman Triathlon & Duathlon is an early fixture in the calendar for the triathlete community. With the addition of the “Legend” Middle Distance Triathlon, this year’s event has been tougher than ever before.

RECORDS BROKEN AS SUN SHINES ON WARMEST EVER SLATEMAN
The eighth edition of the Slateman Triathlon, Llanberis, was a record-breaking race, with an eight-year high for water temperatures, weather and race times. With over 1,200 triathletes taking part across the two days the Pedalcover Slateman opened Always Aim High’s ‘2018 SUUNTO Adventure Triathlon Series’, a trio of Adventure Triathlons based in North Wales.

Crowds Treated to Spectacular Racing Action at the 2017 Pedalcover Slateman Triathlon
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May saw over 1,600 triathletes, and thousands more spectators from across the UK attend ‘one of the best races in the world’; the seventh 2017 Pedalcover Slateman Triathlon in Llanberis, North Wales.
