Info for locals
We usually take two days to set up before the event. Athletes will start arriving at approximately 06:00 on the day of the event with some staff being there approximately 2 hours before the arrival of athletes. All noise will be kept to an absolute minimum during unsociable hours.
Saturday is the shorter Sprint distance race. Racing will start at approximately 08.00 and the action is usually over by lunchtime.
Sunday athletes race longer distances continuing all day. Racing will start at approximately 07.00.
The Event Village closes at approximately 19:00 on Sunday.
More detailed information will be added in the lead up to the event.
There are no road closures during this event, but please be aware there will be cyclists on the roads so plan extra time for your journey.
In line with Welsh Assembly Government Guidance and Guidance of the National Governing Bodies, Spectators are not presently encouraged at our events due to Covid-19. Please go to our Covid-19 page to see the most up to date information on how we will be delivering a covid secure event.
We hope to welcome spectators back as soon as we are able and will update information here so please check back closer to the event.
We are always on the lookout for people to join our awesome team of Marshals and Volunteers and it is a great way to raise funds for your local community group or charity. If you are a local business and have offers over the event weekend please contact us so we can include you in our communications with our athletes. There are also opportunities for stands in our Event Village.
Signage and Litter
All our signage is removed immediately after the event and we conduct a full litter pick as stated in our environmental policy. We will respond to any reports of left signage or litter immediately so in the unlikely event of this happening please contact us.
