COVID-19 IMPACT ON 2020 EVENTS

Thank you to everyone for all the support since our COVID-19 announcement at the weekend. This is a difficult time for the entire sports community as well as many others and your understanding and kind words mean a huge amount to the Always Aim High Events Team.

The health, safety and well-being of everyone at our events is at the heart of everything we do. Our decisions have been based on instruction from the government, public bodies, sports governing bodies, and the views of the communities in which we operate. Our priority is to minimise disruption and do everything we practically can to support and protect our athletes, staff, volunteers, spectators and suppliers.

In light of current developments, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Harlech Triathlon & Duathlon and World’s Steepest Street Race.

British Cycling, UK Athletics and the British Triathlon Federation have suspended all organised events until at least the 30th April. All events on our calendar after this time will for now, remain in place, however due to the uncertainty of the situation, we are working on alternative dates for our summer events. We will be making and communicating decisions as things unfold and further guidance is issued. If you have entered an event you will receive an email this week confirming the current status of the event and giving further information.

In the meantime, we are working on ways to keep the Always Aim High Community active during “social distancing”. Keep an eye on our social media for some exciting stuff that we have in store.

We’re all in this together, and together we will all get through. Thank you again for all your patience and understanding so far, we can’t wait to see you back racing in beautiful Wales again soon.
