Route Description

Your ride begins in Holyhead before heading south along the coast, with beautiful sea views accompanying the opening miles. Around 10 miles into your ride comes one of the highlights of the Tour de Môn: the legendary Flying Mile at RAF Valley. With the runway closed exclusively for the event, this is your chance to put the power down, race against the clock and see just how fast you can go.

From RAF Valley, the route heads into the heart of Anglesey. Quiet country lanes lead you through rolling farmland and villages including Bryngwran, Gwalchmai and Bodffordd. And don't be fooled by Anglesey's reputation for being flat, there's enough undulating terrain along the way to make those feed station treats well earned.

The final section takes you through Llanfachraeth and Valley before turning for Holyhead and the welcome sight of the finish line.

Whether it's your first sportive, a ride with friends or the chance to experience Tour de Môn without taking on the longer distances, the Bach delivers a memorable day on two wheels.

46 miles. Big scenery. One unforgettable ride.
