Published: 07.10.2022

After forming a partnership in 2022 for the XTERRA Snowdonia Trail Marathon, ultimate sports events organiser Always Aim High Events will now be delivering the UK’s first XTERRA Triathlon since 2015.

XTERRA is a global lifestyle brand that champions the outdoor enthusiast in their pursuit of relentless adventure. The search has been on for some time to bring XTERRA back to the UK and this new partnership with Welsh event organiser has allowed them to make this a reality.

Always Aim High Events already organise some of the finest triathlons in the UK including their epic Adventure Triathlon series the Slateman, Snowman and Sandman as well as the iconic Cardiff Triathlon. The new XTERRA Triathlon will form part of their already established Weston Park Triathlon weekend, being held on Saturday 13th May at Weston Park, Shropshire.

Tim Lloyd, company director at Always Aim High Events had this to say about the exciting new partnership. “XTERRA is such an exciting brand and their races are so spectacular, they are a perfect partner for us at Always Aim High Events. We are thrilled to be organising this event and bringing XTERRA back to the UK after some time away. The XTERRA Weston Park event will showcase the UK’s finest trails on a World stage and we are very proud to be leading on this"

Doug Hall – XTERRA UK Technical Director said “We’re over the moon to have found an amazing venue and to be working with Always Aim High Events to bring an XTERRA Triathlon back to the UK. We’ve already enjoyed success partnering with Always Aim High Events for our XTERRA Trail Run series, so it was an easy decision to team up again. We’re looking forward to giving the UK XTERRA community a chance to race at home and an opportunity to qualify for the 2023 World Championships in Trentino.”

Entries to the event will open on 9th October 2022 with a 4 week early bird discount available to buy below.
