Life’s a beach at the 2022 Sandman
There’s something very special about Sandman that’s hard to describe. It’s that feeling that you get when you stand on top of the sand dune and catch your first glimpse of the beach, framed by the mountains on one side and the huge forest on the other. It’s beautiful, exciting, mysterious and it’s impossible not to lose a bit of your heart.
Enter Sandman 2022, and what a Sandman it was.
2021 Race Report
Return of the Sandman for its epic 10th edition!
Over 1000 triathletes and duathletes arrived in the stunning surroundings of Newborough Forest and Traeth Llandywn for the 10th Superfeet Sandman. The course was as challenging with some tough sea conditions, making for some incredible racing across the weekend.
2019 Race Report
NEW “LEGEND” CROWNED AT 2019 SUPERFEET SANDMAN TRIATHLON
Over 1000 triathletes arrived in the stunning surroundings of Newborough Forest for the 9th Sandman Triathlon brought to in partnership with Superfeet. The course was as challenging as ever and held a few surprises that made for some incredible racing across the weekend.
The last race of the Always Aim High ‘SUUNTO Adventure Triathlon Series’, the Superfeet Sandman is the perfect season closer for the UK Triathlon calendar and this year saw the crowning of the first-ever Legend Series Champion.

The 8th Sandman Triathlon brought to you in partnership with Superfeet, was as fast, friendly, and challenging as ever. Held at Newborough Forest, this year was a record-breaking race, with over 1,200 triathletes taking part.
