We are excited to announce that the Cardiff Triathlon has been selected as the Standard Distance Triathlon World Championship Qualifier for 2025! After hosting the sprint qualifier for many years, we’re thrilled to introduce this new distance qualifier to the event.

This epic triathlon, set in the heart of the capital on fully closed roads, promises fast and thrilling racing. Compete beneath the iconic Wales Millennium Centre and seize your chance to earn a spot on the GB Age-Group Team.

For the first time ever, The Slateman Duathlon will host the Standard Distance Duathlon European Championship Qualifier.

A staple event on the calendar , the Slateman Duathlon is the most iconic multi sport adventure race in Wales. Starting in Llanberis; the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia)’s industrial heritage, this is an unparalleled race which combines stunning scenery with epic challenges.

The Eirias Duathlon will proudly host the Welsh Triathlon National Championships. Traditionally held in Harlech, the event has now evolved into the Eirias Triathlon & Duathlon, and we are thrilled to welcome the National Championships to its new home. Don’t miss this early-season opportunity to compete for national honors in a brand-new event!

CARDIFF TRIATHLON - WELSH NATIONAL MIDDLE DISTANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

For the first time ever, we are thrilled to host a Middle Distance Championship event at our Cardiff Triathlon. The Legend Distance (70.3) has been a staple in Cardiff for the past two years, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow—now offering athletes the opportunity to compete for championship honors.

BALA AQUABIKE - WELSH NATIONAL AQUABIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS

After successfully hosting the event this year, we are excited to announce that the Aqua Bike Championship has once again been awarded to our Bala event. This fantastic late-season competition offers a prime opportunity for athletes to claim championship status.
