2018 CARDIFF TRIATHLON - ENTRIES OPEN NOW!!

Entries for the iconic Cardiff Triathlon 2018 are now open!

2017 saw a record 1,300 triathletes from across the globe take part in this incredibly fast and friendly race, and this number looks set to double in 2018.

The triathlon, now in its fourth year, is widely regarded as one of the finest city races in Europe, and one of the very few that offers a technical and fast city based race on completely closed roads.

Centring around the world famous Roald Dahl Plass in the heart of Cardiff Bay (and the location for perhaps the best looking transition zone in the UK), the race kicks off with a very exclusive swim in the Bay. This is followed by an extremely fast, lapped cycle through the local streets, including a sprint along Lloyd George Avenue on road closed to traffic.

The race finishes off with a bracing run past such iconic landmarks as the Norwegian Church, y Senedd, the Doctor Who experience and out onto the Cardiff Bay barrage. Competitors then return to the Plass where they cross the finish line under the shadow of the world famous Wales Millennium Centre in front of thousands of spectators and supporters.
