Anglesey Trail Half Marathon and 10k postponed to 2021

Published: 12.10.2020

Thank you to everyone for their continued support throughout this pandemic.

Although we have Covid safe guidance and working practices in place, in light of the continued restrictions placed on events and with many areas of the UK back under lockdown measures we have made the decision to postpone the Anglesey Trail Half Marathon and 10k to next year.

All participants should have received an email with detailed information regarding their entry.

Only last month we were feeling so positive following the successful test events in Wales and were optimistic that we would be racing again this Autumn like our friends over the border in England and Scotland. We’ve been working hard to prepare and were excited to welcome back the Always Aim High Community who have been so loyal and supportive over this difficult year.

The Anglesey Trail Half Marathon and 10k was our last remaining event for 2020 and this has been a heart wrenching decision. I am sure you are aware, the impact is far reaching, not just for ourselves as a company, but also the local community groups and businesses whom our events support. But watching the situation evolve again so rapidly in recent weeks and with the guidance and regulations as they are, this has now become the only available option open to us.

Our athletes' experience as well as our commitment to working in partnership with the local community and all our other valued stakeholders, remains at the core of all we do. We will be pulling together and working hard over the winter to ensure we are back in 2021 delivering the safe and spectacular events we are renowned for.
