The nearest train station is Bangor and is just 1.7 miles away from the start line. London Euston, Birmingham International and Manchester Piccadilly are all served by direct trains to Bangor.

Car
There’s quick, straightforward access from the North West along the M56 and A55. Motorway links with the Midlands are good too, and the same roads – the M6, M5 and M1 – also bring Anglesey within easy reach of the South of England.
The event village and startline is located just off junction 8a on the A55 Expressway. It is approximately 1 hour 15 from Chester, 1.5 hours from Liverpool, 2 hours from Manchester and 3 hours from Birmingham when travelling by car.
Sea
If you're planning a trip from Ireland, ferries depart from either Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire and go directly to Holyhead Port. Holyhead is a half hour drive or direct train journey to the event.

Car Parking
There are pay & display carparks in Menai Bridge, marked on the map below with smaller 'P' symbols.
We have two event-specific car parks at the David Hughes Secondary School and Bangor University 'Normal' sites. These car parks are open between 6am and 2pm on event day.
Where to Stay
We recommend the award winning Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris which is located on the route. Additionally, they are offering a 10% discount on Bed and Breakfast for all Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon & 10k participants.
For self-catering accommodation on the edge of the beautiful Newborough Forest, approximately a 10 minute drive to Menai Bridge, the warm & welcoming cottages at Llety Llanddwyn are a great option.
