Together you can do great things
Teams
The challenge is to complete as many ascents and descents of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) as possible within 24 hours. As a pair or a team, you will take turns to make ascents in a relay format; the perfect opportunity for a group of people to join together and support each other for 24 hours. Each individual contributes to the team goal, whether they make one ascent or ten!
The race winners will be the team that completes as many laps (to the summit and back) as possible. In the event of a tiebreak, the fastest will win!
To add to the excitement and motivation, individuals, pairs and teams can set the goal of achieving one of the following awards. Every team member receives a unique local Welsh slate that marks the highest level achieved, as well as their finisher slate.
- 3 times ascend and descend – Yr Wyddfa Triple
- 4 times ascend and descend - The Eiger Challenge
- 5 times ascend and descend – The Mont Blanc Challenge
- 6 times ascend and descend – The Kilimanjaro Challenge
- 7 times ascend and descend - The Ama Dablam Challenge
- 8 times ascend and descend - The Annapurna Challenge
- 9 times ascend and descend - The K2 Challenge
- 10 times ascend and descend – The ultimate Everest Challenge!
Fundraising at Yr Wyddfa24
Unique, beautiful, and a little bonkers, Yr Wyddfa 24 has captured the imagination of many fundraisers who have raised thousands for charities. Taking part as a team means people of all abilities can take part (you only have to make one ascent to raise the team total), so grab your friends, colleagues, or teammates in celebration, remembrance, or friendship and go to new heights to make a difference for others in 2025. Support crews and team 'kit' welcomed!
